A record of the renovation of a
Wooden Drascombe Longboat 'Otter'
12th November 2006 Transferred Otter to trailer and moved her into the garden.
Now
to get her onto the trailer, again.
I
removed the rollers from the trailer and slide it underneath.
Then
I used a trolley jack at the rear and the jockey wheel height at the front
to slowly lower the boat, removing wood and concrete blocks as I go.
Back
on the trailer ready to go.
I
have quite a steep ramp from the road to my drive so I used a block and
tackle to haul her up.
Then
maneuvered her to the pre-prepaired platform.
