18th November 2006 And worse

I have continued to remove rotten plywood. It is now obvious that local repairs are out of the question. The whole garboard will have to be replaced. This, in someways, makes it easier.

The next strake also has some rot and will have to be patched.

The other side is the same but I may concentrate on one side as the wood on the other side will help to keep the boat straight. Removing too much wood might make her flexible.

I have put several support points underneath to keep her level.
