A record of the renovation of a
Wooden Drascombe Longboat 'Otter'

8th January 2007. Removed aft bulkhead and made templates

Spent a day with saw and chisel carefully removing aft bulkhead.

I sawed out as much as I could then removed the rest to the glue line with a sharp chisel.

Before I did this I made a cardboard template to record the position of the chines.

Then, after I had cut out the rotten bulkhead, I was able to make templates in hardboard.
