A record of the renovation of a

16th January 2007. Cut out 9mm strakes

I used the hardboard patterns to mark out and cut out the strakes in 9mm ply. Although I don't need them yet I wanted to see how much ply I would have left for other things.

The rear cabin bulkhead will be new and in a position where there isn't a bulkhead at the moment (at the rear of the centreboard case). I couldn't make a pattern from inside the hull as the side benches were in the way and I didn't want to cut them yet. (I want to get the keelson repaired first, to give the hull some stiffness.)

So I made a pattern of the outside of the hull and subtracted 9mm.
