A record of the renovation of a
Wooden Drascombe Longboat 'Otter'

27th February 2007. Fitted starboard front garboard strake.

I planed the bevel and adjusted the curve to get the garboard strake to fit under the second strake.

The key was to get the rebated bevel right, at the front.

Because there is hardly any angle between the two strakes at the front there is a small rebate to get them to align.

I also applied a coat of International Intertox wood preserver to the side and aft lockers.
