A record of the renovation of a
Wooden Drascombe Longboat 'Otter'

5th March 2007. Bonded strake repairs.

I bent and steamed the ends of the garboard strakes to make them fit the curve of the transom.

I bonded the third strake repairs.

I have ply straps at the back but I didn't bond them at this stage.

The centre clamp is pulling the strap against the repair to hold it to the curve of the strake with plastic sheet between.
