A record of the renovation of a
Wooden Drascombe Longboat 'Otter'

27th March 2007. Shaped Keelson.

I cut the slots for the centreboard and rudder.

Then shapped the keelson and stem.

This was quite difficult. First I had to remove a lot of wood which I did with an electric planer. Then I had to shape it correctly.

I also glued hardwood dowels in all the holes.
